This project celebrates the art of body modification through personal stories and photography. By interviewing individuals who have undergone various modifications, I want to share their motivations and experiences. By sharing these stories, I aim to create more understanding and empathy and challenge societal judgments. It creates a safe, respectful space where individuals share their journeys openly and confidently.
I invite viewers to sit down for a moment and read someone else’s story. Ultimately, it helps to create a more inclusive society that values different ways of expressing identity and encourages people to think twice before making assumptions based on appearance.

I am a photographer with a keen attention to detail. At ArtEZ University of the Arts, where I studied Graphic Design, I learned to blend graphic design and photography seamlessly. This unique approach allows me to infuse a design perspective into every project. My fascination with visual storytelling drives me to create images that are aesthetically pleasing and deeply meaningful, capturing the essence of my subjects and revealing their underlying stories and emotions.
Graduating from ArtEZ equipped me with a diverse skill set to deliver creative solutions. I am passionate about identity and self-expression, focusing on body modification and personal transformation. My recent book, ""Marked,"" features stories of individuals who express themselves through body art. I am committed to pushing the boundaries of my craft by merging design and photography into impactful art.
